    Position Overview:

    Ringer is looking for a Data Scientist II to join our team. The role involves the following responsibilities:

    • Performing adhoc analysis on client data sets combined with publicly available data sets in the healthcare domain
    • Performing marketing-focused analysis from publicly available social media platforms
    • Creating predictive and time series models from client data sets
    • Creating LLM-backed solutions for internal and external stakeholders

    Qualifications:

    • Masters or Doctorate degree
    • 1-3 years of experience at a research firm or agency, working with social media / digital analytics is required
    • Proven experience in statistics, NLP, AI building, and Machine Learning applications
    • Knowledge of Python and associated libraries, as well as SQL
    • Strong experience working with GCP, Azure, AWS, and SnowFlake
    • Proficiency in at least one data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
    • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration and communication (verbal and writing) skills with fluency in MS Office. Passion for continuous learning as data science evolves.
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to tell a story with data, write emails and reports in a clear, concise, and professional manner
    • Preferred New York City or Austin based

    Required Skills:

    • Experience manipulating, aggregating, and expanding data assets.
    • Experience building and validating machine learning or statistical models.
    • Experience with at least one type of LLM
    • Experience maintaining code bases in GitHub or similar platforms

    Preferred Skills:

    • Understanding of statistical methodology.
    • Experience with ETL data pipelines.
    • Experience extracting data from the web via API or URL.
    • Knowledge of common website practices and structure.
    • Experience with text analysis approaches
    • Experience with time-series analysis

    Location & Pay:

    • Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
    • Location – This role will be based in our Austin, Texas office working hybrid and working a minimum of 3 days in office.
