Job Summary

This position at the Lakeland Clinic includes providing efficient, quality support to the physicians/mid-level providers.
Provide safe, competent care while enhancing the care to all ages of patients in Family Practice areas.
Facilitates patient flow.
Provides direct care to patients under the direction of provider within scope of practice including chronic disease management.
Maintains emergency equipment and other resources needed to provide safe, high quality patient care. Supports provider practice by utilizing the nursing process and R.N. skills.
Provides management of pharmacy refill program for patients.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Registered Nurse (RN) current license in the state of Minnesota required.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to work well with team members and act as a leader for the nursing department clinical staff.
Good communication, computer, documentation, and time management skills.
Nursing RN assessment skills as well as procedural skills within scope of practice.
