A highly motivated team with extensive expertise
The coding of diagnoses, procedures, and all other DRGrelevant information in accordance with coding guidelines, ensuring and monitoring correct record keeping
Supporting clinical staff in optimizing coding, documentation, length of stay management, and patient records
Utilizing the SAP patient profile and participating in meetings with clinical personnel
Managing and optimizing coding and billing processes according to German coding guidelines
Handling MDK inquiries (preparing documents, participating in MD visits/dialogues, maintaining relevant records in the RKT tool)

What we are looking for:

Completed vocational training as a nursing professional with several years of experience in various departments preferred
Completed training or willingness to undergo training as a coding specialist
Willingness to support other locations as needed
Experience with classification systems such as DRG, ICD, OPS, German coding guidelines, and billing regulations
Proficiency in using hospital information systems (SAP) and MS Office
A structured team player with effective and interdisciplinary communication skills
