    Job Description

    1.

    Good knowledge of design and development of Underbody parts ( engine compartment, floor.)

    • Knowledge of water seal design and understanding for sealing process.
    • Knowledge of anticorrosion.
    • Knowledge of crash, durability, NVH performance as part and vehicle level.
    • High CAD skill with surface modelling & 2D drafting experience in UG-NX software
    • Can prepare 2D master section, joggle, joining structure and convert to design surface.
    • Can do Layout study (Typical section study )
    Ability to lead a 4-5 members

    team , and

    lead a project.

    • Good knowledge of vehicle structure and body aggregates
    • Design to production , knowledge of sheet metal formability, fixation structure – spot weld , arc weld, bolt join, riveting , SPR, FDS.
    • Should create automation from design or from
    xls

    to improve efficiency and reduce human error.

    • Strong in fundamental engineering – strength of material, beam structure
    etc

    • Good knowledge of ISO GD&T
    • Cost Reduction Study experience at component and/or system level
    • Production & Manufacturing knowledge sound knowledge
    • Knowledge of jigs and checking fixtures.
    • Knowledge of materials, components tests, part quality aspects and checking fixtures
    • Strong communication, interpersonal skills
    • Analytical skills, logical thinking and ability to take decisions independently.
    • Adaptive mindset to work and perform in multiculture environment.
    • Quick learning ability.
