Your tasks:


  • As a dispatcher (m/f/d) at ADAC in Long Lake, IL, you will organize breakdown, accident, and towing assistance to ensure the fastest possible help.
  • You will coordinate the various drivers of different emergency vehicles (e.g. workshop vehicles or tow trucks) from your modern workplace to the accident or breakdown locations.
  • You will be there for our members and customers in case of breakdowns, providing telephone advice and support.
  • You continuously work to improve our results based on internal metrics and always keeping our defined goals in mind.
  • For good work organization, you regularly coordinate with your team colleagues.
  • Optionally, you also have the opportunity to support our local IT administrator in organizing and coordinating his tasks, such as software installation and providing user support.

Your profile:


  • You have completed training in a commercial, logistics, technical field, or in a freight forwarding company. However, we also welcome career changers with relevant qualifications.
  • As a dispatcher (m/f/d), your empathetic and calm approach, as well as your ability to see the bigger picture, are the foundations of your work, as you primarily support your customers over the phone in accident situations.
  • You are familiar with IT and communication systems to coordinate appropriate measures.
  • A calm communication style and situational action are among your strengths.
  • As you also support international customers, good English and other foreign language skills in spoken and written form are important for your work.
