For the
winter semester
2023/24, we are looking to fill a
professorship (m/f/d) in the field of mechanical engineering
at the IU International University (IU) in the dual study program at our campus in Hamburg, either full-time or part-time.

Your responsibilities:

You will teach and conduct research in the field of mechanical engineering in the practice
integrated bachelor's program
You will contribute to the development of teaching and research topics and bring new perspectives to the academic world
You will teach mathematical, natural science, and engineering fundamentals, as well as practical and applicationoriented skills, by focusing on mechanical engineering topics such as technical mechanics, process engineering, production technology, and design technology
Additionally, you will be able to train our students to become experts in one or more of the following specializations: design technology, production technology in mechanical engineering, and process engineering
You will be involved in the creative development of teaching formats within the didactic concept of the IU International University for the dual study program and further develop it in collaboration with colleagues
