We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant for our client, a company with around 1,000 employees and renowned automotive manufacturers as their clients worldwide, located in Mount Olivet, KY.


Responsibilities:

  • Independent handling of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting for a manufacturing company
  • Recording of all business transactions, processing of payments, bank account reconciliation, account clarification and maintenance, and managing collections
  • Conducting process audits, assisting with VAT returns
  • Supporting yearend and monthend closing activities, including accounts receivable valuation and relevant reporting
  • Communication with customers, sales, and other internal departments
  • Designing and optimizing accounting processes
  • Special tasks in accounts receivable and fixed asset accounting

Qualifications:

  • Commercial education with a focus on accounting, additional qualification as a certified accountant (IHK) preferred
  • Experience and knowledge: Good understanding of accounting according to HGB and IFRS, several years of relevant work experience, preferably in industrial companies
  • Good knowledge of SAP R/3, FI module, and knowledge of SD and AA desired
  • Proficient in MS Office

Languages:
Very good German and good English skills in written and spoken form
