    Description

    WiseHire are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join an established team within the healthcare sector. You will be involved in the advancement and upkeep of Data Analytics technology and infrastructure to fulfil business needs by delivering technical guidance and user assistance.

    We are looking for a candidate with strong healthcare experience, ideally in financials and claims data.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, adjust, and sustain allocated programs and databases. Oversee the functioning of designated programs and databases, addressing issues by identifying and fixing logical and coding errors.
    • Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the organization's data warehouse, automating processes when feasible.
    • Collaborate with the Program Manager to facilitate data transfer from transactional databases to the data warehouse and external parties.
    • Generate requested reports and analyses.

    Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and software applications.
    • Experience in developing and implementing standards, procedures, and guidelines for operational processes.
    • Familiarity with various healthcare information types and sources, including financial and claims data files
    • Self-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage shifting priorities.
    • Advanced SQL skills, specifically with MS SQL and Snowflake Data Cloud.
    • Proficient in Matillion ETL for creating and scheduling data pipeline processes.
    • Strong programming and data analysis capabilities in Python and R.

    Compensation:

    • $140-170k base
