    About the Job:

    For Mechanical/Civil/Structural/Chemical (non-Electrical) Engineering Degrees:

    You will be assisting in Project Engineering activities related to fixed and rotating equipment, as well as reliability management. Your responsibilities will include reviewing engineering documentation, creating job scopes, and updating CITGO specifications.

    For Electrical Engineering Degrees:

    You will assist in Project Engineering activities related to Electrical Engineering, including review of electrical engineering documentation and creating job scopes for projects.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program (Sophomore, Junior, or Senior classification)
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 required for internship consideration

    Job Duties:

    1. Generate discipline-related work scopes and complete project documentation updates/reviews
    2. Familiarize with CITGO Engineering practices and apply them as needed
    3. Assist in the update/creation of equipment reliability and integrity plans
    4. Review existing engineering documentation for completeness and consistency with current policies and procedures
    5. Consult with Senior Project Engineers, complete site visits, and support ongoing engineering efforts
    6. Complete End-of-Internship Summary and present to Terminals & Pipelines Management
