    Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace.

    We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

    Be responsible for the setting up and welding of aerospace tubes to machined fittings using Orbital welding technology.


    2nd Shift Orbital Welder to be certify to AWS D17.1 Aerospace Specification as required for Orbital welding of aviation hardware from 0.Set-up and layout jobs using Operation Sheets and fixtures following welding procedures for Orbital welding.

    Create or adjust programs to be certified for future production welding.
    Inspects, maintains, logs preventative maintenance on equipment needed for welding and fabricating.
    Solvent cleaning to prepare weld joints for welding.
    Tack welding, fabrication of shop aids and fixtures to assist fabrication and welding.
    Borescope inspection for root side weld defects. Visual weld inspection using fillet weld gauges, calipers, micrometers, height gauges and final weld fixtures.
    Weld inspection for weld size, face, root reinforcement.
    Lean Manufacturing, general housekeeping, work in a teaming environment, 5S.
    Daily compliance to customer drawings and specifications to maintain aerospace Quality Standards.
    Complies with internal quality system and regulatory requirements.
    Maintains qualification for welding certifications.
    Cleans work area, tools, and equipment at end of shift.
    Follows all business policies and procedures.
    Ability to pass Orbital welding assessment and become certified on required alloy/joint combinations.


    • Good attention to detail and understanding of fusion welding.
    • Ability to read/write/speak English.
    • Legal authorization to work in the US.
    Makes decisions based on experience and available data.


    • Requires minimal supervision to plan and schedule workload according to production schedule to meet manufacturing needs.
    • 00 per hour, plus 10% shift differential
