- Receive, review, and organize incoming mortgage loan applications while maintaining an accurate, updated database to track the status through the full cycle of the loan.
- Serve as a central point of contact for borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, processors, and other involved parties including loan application status, documentation requirements, and timely communication.
- Ensure underwriters and processors receive accurate and complete documents from borrowers including, required documentation, disclosures, and supporting materials.
- Monitor and manage timelines for loan processing, underwriting, appraisal, and closing by identifying potential delays and addressing issues to adhere to agreed-upon deadlines.
- Maintain all loan documentation to current industry regulations, guidelines, complains requirements, and applicable laws.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address issues or challenges and maintain loan process schedule.
- Perform regular quality reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan processing and documentation are compliant with company standards.
- Generate and provide regular reports on loan application status, processing times, and other relevant metrics to management and stakeholders.
- Provide excellent customer service to borrowers and other stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- College degree preferred.
- MUST be bilingual in Spanish
- Previous experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, or related roles preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow process and maintain a consistent standard of quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with loan origination software and loan management systems.
- Ability to work as a team player to accomplish departmental goals.
- Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and compliance.
- Problem solving.
- Ability to effectively adapt to evolving situations.
- Primary Availability - Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Secondary Availability - As needed to satisfy loan production deadline.
