    Role Overview:

    As a Senior Strategist at Protobrand, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic guidance and insights to our clients' brands and target consumers, helping them to understand market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes. This position requires a deep understanding of market research methodologies, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies for our clients. Reporting into the SVP Client Delivery, you will work closely with clients, business development, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of strategies that drive business growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Client Engagement and Consultation:

    Engage with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and goals.

    Act as a strategic consultant, providing expert advice through a wide range of thoughtful, insight-led deliverables designed to guide client goals, objectives, business plans and marketing strategy

    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

    Address client concerns and feedback to improve service delivery.

    Research and Insight Development:

    Work collaboratively with researchers to design comprehensive market research studies using both qualitative and quantitative methods.

    Interpret data to identify key insights that inform strategic decisions.

    Storytelling and Strategic Recommendation Development:

    Develop compelling deliverables through storytelling that connects data points to insights

    Develop tailored strategic recommendations for clients based on insights.

    Collaborate with clients to ensure recommendations align with their research and business objectives.

    Stakeholder Collaboration:

    Work with cross-functional teams, including the research team, to ensure client deliveries are impactful, have consistent high quality and are delivered on time.

    Reporting and Presentation:

    Create impactful reports and presentations to communicate insights and strategies to clients and their stakeholders

    Present insights based on complex data in a clear and concise manner, using visualization tools where necessary.

    Desired Qualifications:

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in the Humanities, Marketing, or a related field. Consumer anthropology an asset

    5+ years experience in a market research role and/or planner/strategist role at ad agency

    Strong understanding of market research methodologies and applications in the areas of Brand Development,Marketing Communications and Product Innovation

    Proven excellent analytical and writing skills; building a strategic story from the data that leads to actionable recommendations

    Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Additional Requirements:

    Willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations as needed.

    Familiarity with industry-standard research tools and software.

    Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft 365.
