- Analyze and investigate complex information reported in the internal financial statements and other periodic financial reports for a manufacturing location.
- Analyze financial results, trends and metrics on a monthly basis.
- Post a specified list of journal entries at month end. Review the internal Financial Statements for errors before they are published. Review expenses and operating statements including COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), product and overhead costs.
- Research and recommend options and solutions for improved business results to senior management.
- Provide financial decision support the manufacturing location leaders.
- Collaborate with product divisions and front line manufacturing staff to drive improved profitability.
- Conduct quarterly/monthly financial business reviews with manufacturing location leaders.
- Review manufacturing processes, cost of materials, capex spend, and location costs.
- Conduct and document complex financial analysis projects.
- Collaborate with plant leadership & financial business partners to prepare and maintain annual operating plan for manufacturing facility
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years of financial planning, reporting and/or analysis experience.
- At least 1 year experience in cost accounting.
- Experience leading profit improvement initiatives.
- Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and other ERP financial systems.
- Position requires travel for business purposes (within state and out of state).
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
- MBA
- Project Management experience.
