You will be responsible for creating and carrying out a sales plan in your region to help execute the global sales strategy and goals of the company.
We expect you to become the top expert of your region, to be curious and passionate about the bakery world and eager to develop new business opportunities - both with new prospective clients, and with long standing partners.
With a customer-centric approach and with the help of our wonderful support teams, you will be responsible for carrying out sales from the earliest stage of the opportunity to the execution of the program at store level.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIESCommunicate effectively across internal teams to ensure perfect program execution and service to our client.
Build trusted relationships with your partner clients by communicating directly and often with them, helping navigate their challenges, and understanding their business opportunities.
Develop profitable and strategic sales strategy in your territory to help achieve the company's annual US budget.Lead the execution of all customer agreements and programs through strong teamwork and communication with Customers, Distributors and Broker/partners.
Lead and manage brokers, when applicable, to help identify opportunities and help with everyday administrative tasks.
Travel to different area locations to set up product presentations, bake products, set-up promotional shows, seminars, or to resolve customer complaints or problems as needed.
Represent Company at national and regional trade shows, to showcase and promote our company and products.Responsible for maintaining CRM within customer base and new sales prospects.
Attend company scheduled meetings when applicable.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position will be working remotely, typically in a home office environment.
Extensive travel is required to meet with clients, visit stores, and connect with our teams in our different plants and offices.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
More than any degree, we are looking for someone that is hungry, positive, curious, passionate and proactive, with a heart for bakery Experience in bakery and/or food industry is highly preferred, as well as experience with retail customers, in-store bakery/ Deli/ or grocery departments.
Positive and dynamic attitude
Adaptable to growing and changing environment.
Highly organized and ready to execute sales plans, lead client meetings and build client strategies and programs.
Great communication skills, both written and verbal
Great analytical skills to dive into sales and market data, with ambition to become the top expert in your field.
