    Calibration Quality Assurance Manager

    Position Summary:
    The Calibration Quality Assurance Manager at Field Calibrations, Inc. will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our quality management systems (QMS) specifically tailored to calibration services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong focus on detail and a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will lead quality improvement initiatives, manage compliance with industry standards, and act as the primary liaison with customers and accreditation bodies.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Develop and oversee the implementation of the quality management system, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, and other relevant calibration standards.
    - Lead the company's quality assurance policies and procedures, focusing on continuous improvement in calibration processes and outcomes.
    - Conduct thorough quality audits, both internally and externally, to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
    - Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding calibration quality issues, ensuring effective communication and resolution of concerns.
    - Collaborate with department heads and management to integrate quality assurance measures into all calibration operations.
    - Provide training and support to staff on quality management practices and standards specific to calibration.
    - Prepare and present detailed reports on quality metrics, audit outcomes, and improvement initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
    - Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting calibration quality standards and practices.

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional quality certifications (e.g., QMS, CMQ, CQI, CQT) is highly desirable.
    - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role, with a significant focus on calibration services.
    - Demonstrated knowledge of calibration standards such as ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, and experience with accreditation processes.
    - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving quality objectives.
    - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    - Proficiency in the use of quality management software and tools, with experience in MET/CAL and MET/TEAM software being a significant advantage.
    - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
