    Job Description

    Interior design firm in Los Angeles is looking for a full-time Purchasing Manager + Office Administrator with experience in high-end residential design. The ideal candidate should love interior design and have the skills to take charge of projects from start to finish.

    Responsibilities for this role include:

    Purchasing Manager Responsibilities:

    • Use 'Studio Designer' for creating client proposals, purchase orders, and invoices
    • Manage project budgets
    • Coordinate vendor custom quote requests
    • Handle vendor purchase orders, payments, and order acknowledgements
    • Track shipping and delivery timelines
    • Manage receiving and quality assurance
    • Be the point of contact for the warehouse regarding receiving, deliveries, and installation
    • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and sub-contractors
    • Assist in reconciling project accounts
    • Organize project files and maintain archives
    • Support design team with presentations, meetings, etc.
    • Help oversee the internship program

    Office Administrator Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day office operations
    • Handle facilities and IT management
    • Document procedures
    • Assist with calendaring and scheduling
    • Manage office payments and expenses
    • Run office, project, and personal errands as required

    Note: Additional responsibilities and special projects may arise

    Requirements:

    • Legal right to work in the US
    • Must be able to commute reliably to the office with transportation for errands
    • At least 4 years experience in a similar role in interior design
    • Proficient in Studio Designer and Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of AutoCad and Creative software preferred
    • Comfortable with both MAC and PC
    • Ability to read architectural drawings
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Efficient, accurate, and independent worker
    • Excellent time management
    • Handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Team player with good communication skills
