CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be able to work independently in a team environment with local and remote teams.
Must possess knowledge of project management methodologies both traditional and Agile/Scrum
Must possess problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task with readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary.
Must perform related work as assigned.

Onsite Requirement:
Candidate will be working hybrid with some remote work opportunities; regularly scheduled in-office days (2x week) are required. Onsite and remote attendance will be directed/coordinated by the Direct Supervisor.

Support Requirement:
Candidate may be required to provide support during late nights or weekends.

As an ETL Architect, the Candidate must be innovative and creative in solving complex solutions.

The Candidate must have a strong background in developing comprehensive automated processes to extract data from disparate source systems, transform data as per business requirements, and load data into a data warehouse and various presentation models.

As an ETL architect, the Candidate will be responsible for:

Analyzing evolving sources of data, determining, and implementing extraction methodologies
Loading operational data models and data marts and re-architecting and standardizing existing ETL processes
Working with users and business analyst to ensure that the correct data is being sourced into the Enterprise Data Warehouse and the sourced data

is in conformance with data governance guidelines.

Developing processes and procedures in support of a large enterprise BI/DW environment
Working with Business Customers, Section Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a professional

and collaborative manner to define strategies and implementation approaches.

Following software development processes, preparing detailed documentation, and generating work estimates in an SDLC environment.

As an ETL Architect, the Candidate must be quality conscious and be dedicated to delivering quality products on time and on budget.

Experience

7 Required Extensive experience in architecting ETL Solutions, automation, and best practices

7 Required Expertise in source data analysis, defining data granularity, data element mapping, and data warehouse design.

7 Required Hands-on experience with data conversion, performance tuning, and managing conceptual and physical data models.

7 Required Extensive knowledge of/experience with data integration, data quality, multi-dimensional design and ETL tools, processes, and methodology

6 Required Experience with IBM Infosphere DataStage v8.x and above

6 Required Experience with IBM Infosphere Warehouse

6 Required Extensive experience with languages SQL and PL/SQL

6 Required Experience working with data bases DB2 LUW & zOS, Oracle 18c and MSSQL Server

6 Required Knowledge and experience with both DW and BI security architecture, especially involving disparate platforms preferably Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Active Directory (AD)

5 Required Experience with highly complex application security requirements

5 Required Must have Texas CPA experience with CAPPS HCM, CAPPS FIN, Texas Tax systems

4 Required Experience working with metadata driven auto generated code performing full ETL life cycle

4 Required Experience with implementing security and privacy requirements in a large enterprise environment

4 Required Experience preparing all required artifacts accurately and in a timely fashion for the project

3 Required Experience with UNIX scripting

2 Required Experience with Socrata and Datasync file management process

1 Required Knowledge of project management methodologies both traditional and Agile/Scrum

3 Preferred Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government)

3 Preferred Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, TEAMS, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
