Job Summary:

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our sales and project management teams by providing accurate cost assessments and budget forecasts for automatic gate projects.

You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure proposals are competitive and align with company standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages for clients, clearly outlining the scope of work, cost breakdowns, and project timelines.
• Conduct site visits to gather information on accessibility, installation requirements, and potential project challenges.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on changing project requirements, adjustments, and cost implications.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of industry trends, pricing, and the impact of market dynamics on material and labor costs.
• Participate in bid reviews and contract negotiations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an estimator in construction or manufacturing, with specific experience in automated gates or related fields preferred. Sales experience in this area is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of CAD software and estimation software programs.
• Excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work within stipulated deadlines.

Pay:
$72, $78,746.00 per year
