    Description

    Day to Day:

    The Project Engineer will be working with the Project Managers on a daily basis to make sure that they are following all codes and sticking to plans, submittals, and work schedules.

    They will have to do a touch of work in the financial realm of this role but what is extra important is the technical side of their work.

    Each job site is different and at different sites there will be different duties and expectations but safety is always the #1 priority.


    Additional Information:

    A candidate of Insight Global is looking to hire a Project Engineer on the East Coast at their construction company, ideally in PA, WV, Balt.

    MD, or DC.

    This is a more entry level position and they are looking for a self starter candidate who is eager to learn and grow with the company.

    This Project Engineer position is currently open due to workload expansion and internal growth that needs backfilled.

    This is a field based role so the individual who fills it will be traveling 80-90% of the time to different job sites.

    This individual will directly report to the Operations Manager; however, when onsite they will work alongside the Superintendents and report to the Project Managers.

    Most of the travel is within a 4 hour drive so the candidate will be required to use their own vehicle depending on the site, and for anything over 4 hours the Project Engineer will be flown out.

    Training for this individual depends on the person themselves and what experience they come into the role having.


    Plus:

    • Any Geotechnical experience
    • OSHA 10 or 30 certification
    • Experience using AutoCAD

    Must Have:

    • BA in Engineering or Construction Management
    * 0-4 YOE as a working as a Project Engineer


    • Willingness and eagerness to travel 89-90%
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Valid Driver's License
