    ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
    Within the first 30-60 days and ongoing:


    Completes all assigned internal training required for the Director of Operations as outlined in the onboarding plan, and learns production processes.

    Partners with the Senior Director of Operations to learn the day-to-day expectations and how to be successful as the Director of Operations.

    Meets and begins developing rapport with the Facilities Manager, Shipping Manager, and the following teams: Quality, Purchasing & Receiving, Process Engineering, Production, Safety, Finance, Human Resources (HR), etc.

    Meets individually with all direct reports and stays visible and present to all direct reports and employees during all employee meetings, GEMBA walks, talking to the leadership team, doing safety and quality audits, and productively interacting with others on the factory floor, etc.

    Participates in different trainings and learns how to financially manage the plant by reading and understanding income statements, balance sheets, gross margin, EBITDA, etc.

    3-6 months and ongoing:


    Is fully integrated into the Director of Operations role and begins leading all meetings the Director of Operations is required to attend, manage, oversee, while being shadowed by the Senior Director of Operations to ensure the meetings are being led to Marvin's expectations.

    By the 6th-month mark, begins to lead CI initiatives and independently leads all meetings bringing questions and ideas on how to overcome issues/challenges that arise to the Senior Director of Operations to collaborate on how to reach a resolution.

    Partners with Human Resources Senior Manager on workforce planning, Marvin Enterprise Human Resources initiatives, communications, and roll-outs to support compliance and Marvin Better Living Framework.

    12 months + and ongoing:


    Starts developing annual SWOT analysis and strategic planning through partnership with the Senior Director of Operations (depending on when Director of Operations starts).

    Attends an annual performance review with the Senior Director of Operations to discuss areas excelled in, gaps in performance, and develop a plan for growth in the upcoming months.

    Visits select customers, with Sales, as needed to represent Operations. Lead customer factory tours of the manufacturing facility.
    EDUCATION, SKILLS &


    EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required
    Master of Business Administration (MBA) highly preferred
    10+ years' experience in an Plant Manager or related role managing a single site and a part of senior level operations leadership required; experience within the manufacturing industry required or related industry (i.e., consumer durable goods, etc.)
    Experience running a highly configured product in an ETO/MTO environment highly preferred
    Must possess the ability to be fully in office during expected working hours with reliable transportation required
    Proven and highly skilled working experience with various office equipment, computers, and various programs including MS Office Suite (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) required
    Demonstrated experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRPs) required
    Practitioner of LEAN Six Sigma or Six Sigma required
    Proven experience collaborating with senior leadership, understanding long term business strategy and negotiating buy-in required
    Proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and timelines required
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
    Possess strong interpersonal skills by practicing active listening and flexibility across all interactions required
    Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
