Job Summary


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Appropriate pesticide applicator's license/certification (if required by local regulations).
  • Familiarity with various types of pesticides and fertilizers used in the golf industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with the Director of Golf and Grounds, Superintendents, and other team members.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical stamina and ability to handle outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Previous experience in golf course maintenance or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:


  • Adhere to all safety warnings and personal protective equipment requirements specified on pesticide labels.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, emphasizing productivity and efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to any pesticiderelated inquiries or concerns raised by golf course staff or visitors.
  • Assist with other general golf course maintenance tasks as needed, including mowing, cup cutting, and equipment operation.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning to ensure proper functionality.
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations governing pesticide use and disposal.
Working Conditions

  • This position requires outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be comfortable working around chemicals and pesticides, following all necessary safety protocols.
