Job Summary

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Appropriate pesticide applicator's license/certification (if required by local regulations).
Familiarity with various types of pesticides and fertilizers used in the golf industry.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with the Director of Golf and Grounds, Superintendents, and other team members.
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical stamina and ability to handle outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Previous experience in golf course maintenance or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Adhere to all safety warnings and personal protective equipment requirements specified on pesticide labels.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, emphasizing productivity and efficiency.
Respond promptly to any pesticiderelated inquiries or concerns raised by golf course staff or visitors.
Assist with other general golf course maintenance tasks as needed, including mowing, cup cutting, and equipment operation.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning to ensure proper functionality.
Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations governing pesticide use and disposal.

Working Conditions

This position requires outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Must be comfortable working around chemicals and pesticides, following all necessary safety protocols.
