    Position Description
    Our systems operations team is integral to ensure that our medical practices' data, patient data and our own internal data remain safe. The individual will be primarily responsible for ongoing security assessments, security response and escalation. The position is key to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and networks.

    What You Will Accomplish

    Vulnerability Management:
    - Perform network and system vulnerability security scans using open source and commercial tools
    - You will own system and device patch compliance, soup to nuts
    - Create and/or augment security patch management procedures and solutions.

    Periodically audit Active Directory configuration, roles and permissions to ensure that minimum necessary access is provided
    - Perform log management in Splunk, including universal forwarder custom configurations and deployment via Chef and/or Rundeck
    - Deploy and support AWS Security best practices in accordance with the Well Architected Framework
    - Configure, deploy, and support system level security policies aligned with CIS benchmarks
    - Work closely with the senior leadership teams in a collaborative environment to improve the current security framework and education of employees
    - Evaluate and implement new technologies
    - Provide technical security support to IT, Engineering and business units
    - Assist in the maintenance/development of security standards and procedures

    What You Bring to the Team
    - Hands-On experience maintaining Active Directory, users, permissions and security groups.
    - Strong knowledge of networking and web related protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, network routing protocols)
    - Vulnerability Management experience (e.g. Rapid 7, OpenVAS)
    - Experience with both Windows and Linux systems LPIC and/or MCSE certifications will receive priority
    - Experience deploying services, automating, and supporting Amazon Web Services
    - Experience working with network security controls (Routers, Firewalls, Proxies, ACL's, Wireless networking protocols)
