    Senior Manager of Product Management

    located in

    Holland, MI .


    Primary Purpose of Position:


    Reporting to the Vice President of Brand Management, the Senior Manager of Product Management will lead the product development team, orchestrating the strategy, management, and execution of Stow's product roadmap.

    As with all leaders at Stow, this role requires a proactive, hands-on approach to product leadership. The Sr.

    Manager will forge strong collaborative ties with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and IT to pinpoint product necessities, construct compelling business cases, and ensure product strategy is aligned with overarching business objectives.


    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    Product Strategy & Customer Focus:

    Crafts detailed product strategy documents outlining business cases, high-level user scenarios, technical specifications, revenue projections, and ROI analyses to align product direction with company priorities.

    Collaborates with sales and marketing teams to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Investigates opportunities for innovation and strategic product partnerships, translating them into marketable product concepts.

    Leadership and Team Development:

    Cultivates and mentors the product development team responsible for product engineering, product sales support, and new product launches, fostering an environment built on Stow's culture of CARDD (Candor, Accountability, Rigor, Decisiveness, and Drive).


    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Works constructively with cross-functional department leaders to drive the product and business planning process including the execution of Stow's product roadmap.


    Executive Engagement:

    Maintains a direct line of communication with executive leadership to champion product plans, metrics, and product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with corporate vision and goals.


    Financial Acumen and Pricing Strategy:

    Collaborates closely with the finance team to refine product pricing, lifecycle management strategies, and profitability analyses, ensuring products meet market demands while achieving financial goals.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education & Experience:
    Bachelor's Degree, MBA or advance degree preferred.
    A minimum of 8 years successful product management experience.
    5+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and managers.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    Proven leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
    Skilled in offering and receiving constructive feedback and effective priority management.
    Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities for informed decision-making.
    Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies relevant to product management.
    SAP Experience preferred
    Interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with individuals both internally and externally to The Stow Company
    Must have excellent customer service skills; including strong written and verbal communication skills
    Must have the ability to interface with all levels of personnel in an office and a manufacturing environment
    Ability to take the initiative and work well independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS &


    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    Sitting at workstation approximately 75 percent of work time
    Standing and walking approximately 25 percent of work time
    Must be able to travel between plant and office locations
    Typical office environment with shelves overhead and above work surfaces

    The Stow Company may temporarily assign any team member with duties outside of their normal responsibilities. Such assignments may be warranted due to a variety of specific requirements, conditions and/or the capabilities of available personnel. Management will determine the nature and duration of those assignments.
