    Marketing Communications Coordinator

Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati provides access to a vast resource of business programming and expertise.     Position Summary:The Marketing Communications Coordinator is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing & administering high-profile marketing initiatives, creative needs, programs, and projects relating to business recruitment, development, and retention. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will own implementation of the branding for the Center, lead generation campaigns, marketing analysis, and highlighting project win announcements. This role reports to the Director of Programs & Marketing.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and execute strategic marketing initiatives, including print, broadcast, and social media content.
    • Develop and implement marketing plans to enhance business recruitment, development, and retention.
    • Coordinate branding efforts and lead generation campaigns to support organizational objectives.
    • Conduct marketing analysis and research market trends to inform strategy.
    • Manage and lead SEO/SEM, display advertising, social media, email, and marketing database campaigns.
    • Create and manage brand advertising campaigns for various communication channels (email, social media, print, etc.).
    • Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to produce marketing collateral.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and provide detailed reports on budget expenses.
    • Stay updated on industry activities and trends to optimize marketing strategies.
    • Support the development of internal tools and resources, including credentials databases and intranets.

    Objectives of this Role:

    • Develop and implement the companys brand strategy aligned with business goals.
    • Optimize marketing efforts to achieve immediate and long-term objectives.
    • Prepare and analyze marketing activity reports for program success.
    • Compile market research, competitor analyses, and consumer trends.
    • Stay educated on industry best practices and share insights with the team

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and InDesign.
    • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, graphic design principles, and best practices.
    • 2+ years of graphic design experience; 1+ years of marketing experience
    • Excellent written communication skills, including copywriting, editing, and proofreading.
    • Experience with email automation software, CRM systems, and Google & LinkedIn Analytics.

    Bonus Qualifications:

    • Website development/ management experience
    • Experience in Business Development
    • Skillset in photography, video creation and editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro
    • Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS development and constraints.
    • Experience managing and leading SEM/SEO, display advertising, social media, email and marketing database campaigns.

    The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for social media, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. They should demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to driving business success through innovative marketing strategies.
