    Description

    Job Description - Solar Market Specialist at Hubbell Incorporated

    As a Solar Market Specialist at Hubbell Incorporated, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a detailed economic and technological knowledge of the Solar Energy vertical market. Your main focus will be on evaluating approaches and methods to profitably build demand and increase sales penetration in this market. Here's what a typical day in your life would look like:

    • Maintaining and analyzing specific end customers databases and top engineers/specifiers database.
    • Collaborating with the sales management team to set sales strategies and goals.
    • Identifying specification opportunities and ensuring they are added to project specifications.
    • Maintaining the Reed database and CRM program for projects and pipelines within the vertical.
    • Performing presentations to top engineers/specifiers to ensure Hubbell products are specified.
    • Providing market forecasts to aid production by working with applicable Business Unit leaders.

    In this role, a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant field experience are preferred, or a high school/associate degree with 12-14 plus years of relevant field experience. You will play a key role in supporting the successful introduction of new products to the market.
