    We are seeking a Specialist, eCommerce Marketplaces & Retailers to help deliver within client engagements requiring our eCommerce Marketing & Merchandizing capabilities.

    This Specialist will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing and merchandising strategies across Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger (or other grocery retailers), Instacart and delivery services.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    20% - eCommerce Strategy and Consulting


    • Business Planning: support the development of eCommerce channel strategies for clients and execution plans based on new or existing channel strategies, including identifying current best practices and competitor tactics as needed to inform planning
    • Technology: support the evaluation of the client's use of available platforms and data within the marketplaces and retailers to identify opportunities to enhance client eCommerce capabilities and drive improved eCommerce performance
    • Customer Analytics: support the analysis of available information and data and development of insights and actionable recommendations to improve customer acquisition, retention and/or development in the relevant channels
    40% - Amazon & Walmart Program Implementation


    • Associates: support the continued execution of two client Amazon programs that Night Market is managing
    • Stores: support two existing client Amazon brand store launches that that Night Market is managing
    • Sponsored Brands & Products: conduct keyword and messaging research; help set up ad strategies; optimize retail campaigns to ROI/ROAS
    • Amazon

    DSP:
    help build audiences and inform targeting, dynamic creative optimization and retargeting strategies

    • Promotions & Vouchers: help define and execute promotions to optimize redemption rates
    • Collaborate with team media planning and buying resources as needed in this work
    • Monitor brand and product performance as needed and help generate insights and make recommendations for ongoing performance improvement
    40% - Page and Content Creation


    • PDPs: adhering to best practices, build, enhance and/or maintain product detail pages to drive performance improvements
    • Brand Stores: adhering to best practices, design, build, and/or maintain brand representation Amazon
    • A+ Content: adhering to best practices, help build enhanced brand content within PDPs and Brand Stores to increase conversion
    Other


    • Collaborate with other Night Market and Horizon Media specialists, as well as the client as needed, to deliver quality, integrated deliverables
    • Provide - in meetings, emails, IMs and documents - regular information, data and other updates to Night Market colleagues to inform reporting and decision-making
    • Must be able to "hit the ground running" and dive into delivery with minimal ramp up time
    Knowledge and Skills Required


    • 1+ years recent and continuous hands-on experience supporting marketing (e.g. promotions) and merchandising (e.g. Brand Store and PDP optimization) of products on Amazon
    • 1+ years recent and continuous hands-on experience supporting marketing and merchandising of products on and/or
    • Experience in eCommerce with other key CPG or grocery retailers (e.g. Kroger) and/or delivery services (e.g. Instacart) a plus
    • Practical understanding of fundamental ecommerce and marketing metrics, with ability to create and use basic reporting
    • Competency in using Excel and other platforms like Amazon Brand Analytics, Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics in delivering this work
    • Basic understanding of data, content and platforms involved in eCommerce marketing and merchandising a plus, e.g. product assets, feed management, keywords, etc.
    • Effective communication and other teamwork skills
    • Ability and motivation to learn relevant new skills quickly and competently
    • Mindset that fits with a startup environment, e.g. motivated, proactive, collaborative, flexible, practical, agile with the ability to work outside comfort zones and do whatever is needed to get things done

    Salary Range

    $75, $95,000.00


    A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
