    Description

    We are in the search for a Technical Support Specialist for a permanent position with our customer based in Los Angeles. This role will involve working on-site with a salary range of $75,000 to $95,000, depending on expertise, in addition to benefits.

    Key qualities required include exceptional communication abilities and extensive experience dealing directly with end users through face-to-face, phone, or virtual interactions.

    Key Responsibilities of a Technical Support Specialist:

    • Providing support to end users on technical matters, including hardware and software assistance
    • Installation, configuration, and management of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
    • Managing hardware and software applications, operating systems, and peripherals such as printers, phones, or projectors
    • Setting up and configuring audio/video conferencing systems
    • Troubleshooting, identifying, and diagnosing technical issues concerning desktops and end-user systems/equipment in a timely manner
    • Handling help desk calls and supporting System Engineers
    • Basic knowledge of networking and familiarity with MS Office 365, iManager, Windows, iOS, and Android platforms
    • Understanding of server and data center hardware with troubleshooting skills
    • Effective communication and strong analytical capabilities

    Requirements for the Technical Support Specialist role:

    • Preferably a High School Diploma, AA degree, or BA/BS
    • 3-5 years of substantial technical support experience
    • Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach
    • Experience with imaging, printers, copiers, Windows, and document management systems
    • Background in the legal industry or professional service environment is a plus
