    The Veterinary Eye Center of Massachusetts, the first standalone referral practice for veterinary ophthalmology is seeking an experienced and intellectually curious Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our inaugural team.

    The practice opens its doors on July 22nd.

    • Schedule: Four day workweek
    • No overnight or on-call shifts, no late evenings, and no weekend coverage As a member of the ophthalmology team, in addition to traditional Vet Tech duties, you will be actively involved in:
    • Client education
    • Ophthalmic disease testing
    • Performing pre-surgical diagnostics
    • Post operative patient care
    • Rounding with the doctors on cases using learned ophthalmology knowledge


    • Leading appointments Requirements:

    • Licensure in Massachusetts (CVT)
    • 2 years' experience as a Veterinary Technician
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an ability to clearly communicate with clients as well as team members
    • The ability to adapt while maintaining a positive attitude
    • Highly evolved organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
    • The ability to work independently, responsibly, and ethically
    • A resourceful nature and creative problem-solving skills
    • An openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning
    • A commitment to the welfare of animals

    Nice To Have:

    • Anesthesia skills
    • Ophthalmology experience
