    Description

    The Veterinary Eye Center of Massachusetts, the first standalone referral practice for veterinary ophthalmology is seeking an experienced and intellectually curious Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our inaugural team.

    Located in Newton, we are a team of passionate veterinary professionals with a focus on practicing modern medicine and fostering a collaborative culture so that veterinary medicine can be a more sustainable career for all.

    VEC Offers the

    Veterinary Technician:

    • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage
    • No overnight or on-call shifts, no late evenings, and no weekend coverage
    As a member of the ophthalmology team, in addition to traditional Vet Tech duties, you will be actively involved in:

    • Ophthalmic disease testing
    • Rounding with the doctors on cases using learned ophthalmology knowledge
    • 2 years' experience as a Veterinary Technician
    • A resourceful nature and creative problem-solving skills
    • A commitment to the welfare of animals
    Ophthalmology experience
