    Director Can Making Operations

    to lead our Beverage Can Manufacturing Operation. In this role, you will drive strategic initiatives, optimize processes, and foster a culture of operational excellence.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Establishing and communicating the strategic direction for the operation, aligning with company goals and objectives.

    Working closely with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals, providing expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.

    Identifying, recommending, and implementing new processes, technologies, and systems to improve operational efficiency and resource utilization.
    Ensuring departmental decisions, project plans, and budgets are aligned with the organization's business plan and vision.
    Establishing, communicating, and implementing operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures for consistent execution.
    Reviewing and approving cost-control reports, cost estimates, staffing requirements, and departmental budgets.
    Presenting performance reports and metrics to the executive leadership team, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
    Staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in operations management to drive innovation and stay competitive.
    Addressing unforeseen issues through troubleshooting with the operations team, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
    Guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of operations management team members, setting goals, providing feedback, and fostering accountability.

    Identifying training needs and ensuring proper training programs are developed and provided for leaders within the organization, nurturing talent for management roles.

    Requirements

    We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field, along with a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in beverage can manufacturing operations, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

    Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a track record of driving process improvements and cost savings.
