    Description

    Job Title: Global Risk Account Executive at IMA Financial Group, Inc.

    IMA's Global Risk team is looking for an Account Executive to join the Global Benefits group. This person plays a vital role in our Global Employee Benefits unit, serving as a strategic leader and closely partnering with clients and carriers.


    Responsibilities:

    • Train and educate internal and external stakeholders on key elements of global benefits and insurance strategy
    • Lead the Global Account Manager(s) and Global Account Coordinator(s) to oversee IMA Global Benefits Practice
    • Develop proactive communication with IMA service teams, clients, and external partners
    • Prepare new and renewal submissions, obtain underwriting information
    • Assist Managing Director with RFI and RFP responses
    • Develop tailored service plans for clients with designated Producers
    • Participate in marketing strategy development for renewals and new business
    • Conduct coverage and business risk reviews periodically
    • Develop sales of additional lines of coverage/services on existing accounts
    • Negotiate service fee contracts with production teams and external partners
    • Support IMA's global network of broker partners by engaging in events and conferences
    • Communicate with Managing Director on department strategies and performance
    • Maintain renewal list of global Benefits clients and Global AM assignments

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of similar or related experience
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
    • Previous Employee Benefits Broker/Carrier experience required
    • Professional insurance licensing required
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to innovate and lead initiatives
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Proficiency in computer skills and programs such as Microsoft Office
    • Experience with Applied Epic is a plus

    Benefits and Compensation:
