    Department: Oral Health Team

    Classification: Full-Time

    Details: This Dentist position involves traveling to different Wesley Health Center's Dental Clinics in Los Angeles.

    As a Dentist at JWCH, you have the chance to create a significant impact on individuals with limited access to resources, care, and support. This role offers the opportunity to develop cultural competence, grow professionally by serving underserved communities, and experience the fulfillment of helping individuals and families improve their quality of life.

    Position Purpose:

    The Dentist will deliver quality preventive and primary dental care in line with clinic protocols to patients.

    Principal Responsibilities:

    • Conduct dental examinations, diagnose conditions, provide treatment, and refer patients as needed.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and complete necessary paperwork.
    • Educate individuals on health conditions and oral disease prevention.
    • Travel as required.
    • Collaborate with staff to meet organizational goals.

    Requirements:

    • Graduation from an accredited Dental School.
    • Current California Dental License.
    • Current DEA Certificate.
    • Current CPR/BLS Certification.
    • Willingness to travel.
    • Experience in diverse settings.
    • Experience with Next-Gen/EDR or Dentrix is a plus.
