Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
  • Provide medical administrative support, including maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments
  • Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to accurately document patient information
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits and clean instruments as needed
  • Assist with patient education and provide instructions on medication usage or other treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns

Experience:


  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or relevant healthcare role preferred
  • Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, including electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Familiarity with basic life support (BLS) procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills

  • Hospital experience preferred but not required
  • Patient care experience preferred but not required
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred but not required
