As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and providing strategic insights to support our company's growth.
You will oversee the month-end close process, handle project accounting, and facilitate seamless communication with Spanish-speaking stakeholders.Job Responsibilities:
Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
Analyze financial data to identify variances and trends, providing insights to management.
Manage project accounting activities, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and budget analysis.
Collaborate with project managers to monitor project financial performance and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Develop and maintain project-specific financial reports and forecasts.
Serve as a primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Conduct financial discussions, provide support, and address inquiries in Spanish as needed.
Translate financial documents and reports accurately to facilitate effective communication.
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
Implement best practices and internal controls to maintain the integrity of financial data.
Continuously evaluate systems and procedures to support scalable growth.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and project management, to achieve company goals.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency in the month-end close process and financial statement preparation.
Strong understanding of project accounting principles and experience in a project-based environment.
Fluency in Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
