The Foreigners' Office of the Meißen District Office is looking to fill the following position as part of a project, with the option of extension, starting as soon as possible until December 31, 2023:
Municipal Integration Coordinator (m/f/d)

The weekly working hours for employees under collective bargaining agreements is 39 hours. The position is preferably to be filled full-time.

The place of work is Meißen.

The job posting is subject to the approval of funding by the Federal Office of Administration.

Your responsibilities include:

Supporting the office and responsible persons of the municipalities in the district in local integration work
Being the central contact person for the municipalities in the district on the topic of integration of asylum seekers and recognized refugees
Collecting, bundling, and providing information and referrals to local counseling centers and support services
Transition management for recognized refugees from the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act to other legal systems (including apartment search and support with applying for additional benefits)
Support, for example, with visits to authorities and public institutions by accompanying or involving volunteer helpers and initiatives
Counseling on the acceptance of job opportunities and volunteer work
Cooperation with local functional and responsible persons, providers of social welfare services, nonprofit organizations, associations, volunteers, and collaboration with professionals from the district
Needsbased planning and coordination of training and projects
