For the reinforcement of our team in quality assurance, we are looking for a Quality Planner for Metrology (m/f/d) at our location in Quanah, TX.

Your responsibilities:

Processing of measurement orders and planning of measurement setups
Operation of tactile and optical measuring devices and machines
Evaluation and documentation of measurement results
Creation of measurement programs for preseries and series accompanying measurements, as well as further development of measurement techniques and methods
Conducting methodical error analyses (Ishikawa, 5Why)
Preparation of 8D reports
Updating of FMEAs, production control and inspection plans
Participation in the processing of customer complaints

Your profile:

Completed technical vocational training (e.g. as a toolmaker or equivalent)
Professional experience in the field of metrology and with 3D measuring machines
Good knowledge of 8D reports, Ishikawa, 5Why, and FMEAs
Experience in dealing with processes in the automotive industry, related documentation in ERP and CAQ systems, and direct communication with OEMs
Strong communication skills, problemsolving competence, and team orientation
Advanced English skills (at least B1 level)
