Description
Join us in Nixon, TN to accompany seriously ill and dying individuals on their final journey and provide necessary support and assistance to their loved ones.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating outpatient hospice care (- 39a SGB V).This service accompanies dying individuals and their families in their familiar environment and enables a dignified life until the end.
You will establish initial contact with those affected, conduct counseling sessions, and organize the support of volunteer hospice companions. You will recruit, empower, support, and accompany volunteer hospice companions. You will network with other facilities and services in the region and collaborate with them. You will also participate in intensive public relations work. You will document ongoing hospice work.
We expect you to have completed training as a registered nursing professional (healthcare/nursing/geriatric care) or have a university degree in nursing, social pedagogy, social work, or other suitable degrees or vocational training according to the framework agreement for - 39a paragraph 2 SGB V.
You should possess organizational skills, dedication, and empathy for the target group and be motivated to work in a team.
You should have a positive attitude towards the Catholic Church and its social work. You should identify with the goals of our association.
