- Completes required training, continuing education and competency assessments.
- Complies with Safety Policies, Standards of Employee Conduct and Laboratory General, Computer and Compliance Policies and Procedures.
- Maintains relationships and an up-to-date working knowledge of the DRL departments and their respective leaders so as to easily call on them for help in executing strategic initiatives with strategic partners.
- Manages work flow between DRL and regional facilities, organizes and facilitates meetings, ensures timely completion of projects between partners and DRL.
- After new client has been established by Business Development, serves as the primary contact for the client.
- Provides all onboarding support, including collection and ordering education.
- Works closely with Laboratory Call Center Lead to establish a courier pick up schedule for new client.
- Provides routine, ongoing meetings with clients to ensure client satisfaction.
- Monitor the performance of the processing procedures in designated section, including timeliness, validity, and accuracy of records and quality control
- Assists with the supervision of the section personnel, such as: Scheduling to ensure adequate coverage. Making work assignments. Interviewing and recommending hiring decisions. Conducts employee performance appraisals. Recommending personnel for retraining. Recommending and assisting with disciplinary actions. Coordinating section continuing education. Monitoring the section competency. Timekeeping and Attendance recordkeeping. Monitoring productivity.
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with documentation of technical information, including: Evaluating quality control results and corrective action outliers. Printing and reviewing various lab computer reports. Reviewing and revising section procedure manuals. Assist with compliance of regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate and assist staff to perform the following tasks required of the section, may include but not limited to the following: Take inventory and order supplies. Review of other than daily Quality control results, taking corrective action as needed. Orient new employees, making recommendations for additional training when needed. Ensure extended preventative maintenance is performed. Participate in the competency assessment of others when qualified. Participate in Quality assessment data gathering and activities. Contribute to Lab computer build and testing.

- Bachelor's degree required. MBA or MSN is desirable. Clinical leadership or laboratory experience is desired. Demonstrated competency in dealing with medical professionals in an office and/or hospital setting. Ability to work and or lead in a group, team-based fashion and have ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and have the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously.

Summary
of the job:Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with Deaconess Regional Laboratory (DRL) clients. Serves as a liaison between DRL and strategic decision makers in the marketplace to ensure strong relationships. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works closely with Business Development representative. Provides onboarding to new clients. Serves as the primary point of contact for clients. Responsible for coordinating and monitoring activities of processing and its staff to assure quality technical services, financial accountability, and compliance of all policies and procedures for quality patient care. Acts as a technical and administrative consultant to the staff. Delegation of responsibilities to Leads when appropriate. Performs a variety of tasks. Works independently.
