Indee Labs is a biotechnology startup backed by SOSV, Y Combinator, Social Capital and Founders Fund. The team at Indee Labs develops and markets Hydropore for more effective engineered cell therapies.Indee Lab's non-viral delivery platform, Hydropore, is a robust solution that overcomes the limitations and costs of electroporation, viral transduction, and other non-viral transfection methods.
Hydropore is being developed in collaboration with 3 of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies, various biotechs and leading research institutions including UC San Francisco, Stanford, Medical University of South Carolina, the National Cancer Institute and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease among others.
We are seeking a Head of Sales to join the team full time to accelerate the growth and adoption of Hydropore.
Indee Labs is headquartered in Berkeley, CA and accommodates remote work when appropriate. This position will be located in Berkeley, CA or remote and occasional work travel may be required.If you are interested in the role please fill out this form (and well reach out if appropriate.
ResponsibilitiesGrow Research Use Only revenues for Hydropore Instruments and Device PlatesOwn all the plans and strategies for developing business and acheiving sales goalsAssist in the development of the sales plan and prepare forecasts and KPI reportingLand and expand:
build process and funnel for manual top-down reachout, onboarding, activation and expansionEvangelize the product and close all deals to start before building out the sales teamWork collaboratively will all other team members to further define the product and customer needs.
Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet sales objectivesProvide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of developmentEstablish and foster partnerships and relationships with all customers to start and key customers upon achieving revenue growthRequirements5 or more years of experience selling laboratory equipment and a track record of exceeding quotaPossess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach othersStrong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teamsStrength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
