    Job Summary: Client Manager for Student Insurance is a pivotal role focused on enhancing customer satisfaction and driving loyalty within the student insurance sector. This position is the primary contact for our educational institution clients, responsible for both establishing and nurturing robust relationships through superior service and strategic communication. The role demands a blend of strategic thinking, exceptional customer service orientation, and leadership abilities, all within the context of the insurance industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client Relationship Management:
    • Act as the principal liaison for all client service needs, consistently achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and delivering exceptional service.
    • Conduct regular meetings and strategic reviews to discuss plan performance, address concerns, and explore opportunities for service enhancement.
    • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead a service team dedicated to maintaining high customer satisfaction and strong client retention.
    • Train and mentor team members in delivering high standards of service and in developing customer retention strategies.
    • Oversee operational tasks and team performance, ensuring alignment with the company's standards.
    • Strategic Planning and Client Retention:
    • Utilize data and market trends to optimize client service strategies and adapt to client needs and market demands.
    • Implement and manage service metrics and reporting to assess and improve team performance and client satisfaction.
    • Develop and execute strategies to enhance client retention and proactive service responses, considering both immediate solutions and long-term relationship impacts.

    Position Requirements:

    • Education and Licensing:
    • A college degree in Business Management, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
    • Active California Life & Health License, or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment.
    • Experience:
    • Proven track record of at least 5 years in key account management or client relations, ideally within the insurance sector.
    • Extensive knowledge of insurance programs, with a strong preference for candidates with specific experience in student insurance.
    • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively address complex issues and present solutions clearly.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for strategic thinking and decision-making.
    • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, fostering an environment focused on meeting high service standards.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Handle all escalations related to students and educational institutions effectively.
    • Travel up to 25% of the time for client renewals and new business meetings to ensure continuous engagement and support.

    Salary Range 95k-105K
