    Hourly Rate: $20.59

    Receptionist Overview:

    For more than 150 years, San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living has been a leader in providing homes and services for the aging Bay Area Jewish community and San Franciscans. Driven by the Jewish values of reverence for aging and inclusiveness, we designed and built Frank Residences, our Assisted Living community, to welcome and enrich the lives of older adults of all faiths and beliefs. The goal is to enable and empower and encourage participation in all the activities and experiences life can offer.

    What you'll do as a Receptionist:
    • Answer all outside and in-house phone calls in a professional manner and connect the call to the appropriate staff member, resident, and/or patient.
    • Assist residents and visitors coming to the Home and connect them with the appropriate parties. Alert employees and patients promptly when visitors are here.
    • Monitor all incoming and outgoing foot traffic using security monitors and screen visitors entering the campus.
    • Coordinate with the on-campus shuttle driver to assist residents with offsite appointment transportation.
    • Maintain switchboard/front desk filing system.
    • Review email communication and assist with scheduling visitors to meet with residents.

    For you to be a successful Receptionist:
    • Associate's Degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
    • At least two years of relevant experience as an executive assistant, ideally in a healthcare setting.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate articulately and with a wide range of constituents.
    • One year of experience using multi-line telephone systems and hand-held radios.
