Description

Our Mission:

Enable individual persons who have serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorder and/or a dual diagnosis of SMI and IDD to live a life that is meaningful to her/him in the community on terms she/he defines.

Title:

Accountant Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities:

Assist in the monthly financial close process, creating and inputting journal entries, investigating and resolving incorrect entries
Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Assist with Internal/External Audits
Participate in analysis of new accounting systems for the company.
Participate in the preparation of annual audited GAAP financial statements for the Company.
Work closely with the accounting staff to streamline and document processes and procedures.
Assist in the correction of data contained in the accounting system.
Help to maintain the fixed assets records and calculate depreciation
Create and maintain lease schedule
Assist with AP detail input
Adhoc Responsibilities, as requested

Skillset/ Background Needed

Bachelor's Degree required
Expertise in accounting rules and financial processes
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience in financial statement preparation and monthend closing processes
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Great Plains accounting software (preferred but not necessary)
Experience with Microsoft Office software
Knowledge of Excel and formula creation
Attention to detail.
Able to multitask
