    Description

    Trailways of New York is Hiring Bus Drivers*_*We have immediate employment opportunities for full-time Bus Drivers based out of the Albany, New York area.

    *The preferred candidate is a self-starter who manages their time safely and effectively with little supervision, and has:
    • One or more years of experience operating a commercial vehicle, preferably a motor coach or school bus.
    • A valid class B or A commercial driver's license.
    • An unrestricted Passenger endorsement (ability to transport 15 passengers or more) _Operators with a valid class A or B license without a Passenger endorsement may have an opportunity to obtain one as part of the 5-week training program._
    • A valid passport or enhanced driver's license for travel to Canada.
    • Availability to work a 5- or 6-day workweek including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • A driving record that meets insurance standards.
    • A love of operating a motor coach and the willingness to travel.
    *A generous $7500 Sign-On bonus-(_$500 of which is for initial uniform allowance_)

    • A 5-week paid training program at the rate of $20 an hour.
