    We are currently looking for an

    EMC Technical Manager

    working directly in our new EMC lab located in

    Detroit

    ensuring robust EMC delivery of testing services to be provided to external customers.

    Job description


    As EMC Technical Manager you will assist in the recruitment and lead the EMC testing team and facilities to success through technical oversight of testing services in collaboration with the existing EMC labs network of the company.


    The candidate will lead testing validations of our customers (international level) and will act as a key contact following and supervising all technical and general tasks related to the projects.


    Reporting directly to the General Manager of the site the candidate shall ensure the preparation prior the start of any testing activities of all technical information and the test equipment by leading the test engineers and technician to ensure the best project execution and quality.

    Having an excellent technical background and team management skills is a must.


    The Senior EMC Engineer/Manager will need to have deep experience in verification/test and validation in the field of Automotive/Wireless/Commercial EMC testing laboratory activities.

    This will also include the experience in getting the proper accreditations and customer approvals for OEM's and Tier Suppliers as required.

    Technical background

    Master / Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Telecommunications engineering, Physics and/or an equivalent.

    Background & experience

    8 + years of experience as EMC/RF/Electrical Engineer in the following disciplines is required:

    EMC and Electrical testing
    Expertise managing EMC Laboratories
    Experience in leading the accreditation certifications and audits for ISO A2LA
    Experience with EMC and Electrical laboratory test equipment (EMI receiver, VNA, RF amplifiers, RF signal generators, digital scopes, etc.)

    Knowledge of EMC and Electrical test standards (IEC, ISO, CISPR, SAE standards, etc.) related to Automotive EMC (ISO 11452-X, CISPR 25/36, ISO 7637-X, ISO and ISO 21498 and specific OEM EMC standards).

    Interaction with customers for technical project definition and test resources coordination.

    Languages

    Fluent English written and spoken. Other languages will be a plus.
