Description

The Fleet Vehicle Transport Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting customer vehicles between their location and our auto repair facility.

This position requires reliable driving skills, a customer-focused attitude, and attention to detail to maintain excellent vehicle condition.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle Pickup and Delivery:

Coordinate with customers to arrange convenient times for vehicle pickup and dropoff.
Drive fleet vehicles to customer locations for pickup, and back to the auto repair shop.
Drive vehicles back to customers upon completion of repairs or maintenance.
Documentation and Communication:
Maintain accurate logs of transportation activities, including mileage, pickup/delivery addresses, and times.

Communicate any delays or issues to the service manager or customer promptly.

Vehicle Condition Checks:

Inspect vehicles before and after transport, noting any damage or maintenance needs.
Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles during transport.

Customer Service:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer basic customer questions about pickup/delivery procedures or repair service timelines.

Safety:

Obey all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing safe driving practices.

Report any driving incidents or vehicle concerns immediately.

Qualifications:

Driving Record:

Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Experience driving various types of vehicles is a plus.

Customer Service:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to maintain a positive demeanor and handle customer inquiries professionally.

Organization and Responsibility:

Selfmotivated and reliable with strong time management skills.

Detail-oriented to ensure accurate record keeping and safe vehicle handling.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and drive vehicles for extended periods.

$ $17.00 per hour
