We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Service Writer/Assistant Manager to join our team.


Job Overview:


The Service Writer/Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in our shop by acting as the primary liaison between customers and our technicians.

This position involves both administrative and managerial responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and efficient workflow.


Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Greet customers and address their inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Listen to customers' vehicle concerns and accurately document issues.
  • Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.

Service Writing:

  • Prepare and review repair orders and estimates.
  • Coordinate with technicians to determine the necessary services and parts.
  • Ensure all customer approvals are obtained before commencing work.
  • Accurately enter data into the shop management system.

Management Support:

  • Assist the Shop Manager in daily operations and decisionmaking.
  • Supervise and support shop staff, including technicians and front office personnel.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Monitor shop inventory and order parts as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a service writer, assistant manager, or similar role in an automotive repair shop.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle stressful situations.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
