    En DSV Road Inc, el Gerente de Desarrollo Comercial, Logística Aérea, será responsable de impulsar el crecimiento y la ejecución en el espacio de carga aérea, específicamente en la última milla. Este individuo desempeñará un papel crucial en la identificación de nuevas oportunidades comerciales, el cultivo de relaciones con los clientes y el logro de objetivos de ventas y operativos.

    Funciones y Responsabilidades

    • Identificar y perseguir oportunidades para expandir la presencia de la empresa en el segmento de carga aérea de corretaje de carretera.
    • Investigar y prospectar clientes potenciales, incluyendo fabricantes, distribuidores y transitarios.
    • Desarrollar y ejecutar estrategias de ventas para ganar nuevos negocios y alcanzar objetivos de ingresos.
    • Construir y mantener relaciones sólidas con clientes clave y actores de la industria.
    • Servir como punto de contacto principal para consultas, inquietudes y solicitudes de clientes.
    • Entender las necesidades del cliente y proporcionar soluciones de transporte personalizadas para satisfacer sus requerimientos.
    • Monitorear las tendencias del mercado, actividades de la competencia y desarrollos de la industria en el sector de carga aérea.
    • Identificar oportunidades para mejorar productos y servicios.
    • Construir y mantener una red de transportistas para los principales aeropuertos.
    • Colaborar con equipos internos para desarrollar planes estratégicos de penetración y crecimiento en el mercado.
    • Preparar y presentar propuestas convincentes, ofertas y cotizaciones a clientes potenciales.
    • Negociar términos de contrato y acuerdos de precios para maximizar la rentabilidad y el valor para la empresa.
    • Identificar áreas de mejora e implementar estrategias para optimizar el rendimiento del equipo.
    • Medir y monitorear los niveles de servicio de los transportistas para asegurar que está siendo rastreado dentro del sistema VFT (Visual Freight Tracking).
    • Preparar y distribuir informes de "carga" para clientes y transportistas.
    • Manejar proactivamente solicitudes de enrutamiento de envíos de clientes.
    • Utilizar varios sistemas de software de transporte para facilitar el movimiento de materiales, la planificación y la programación.
    • Rastrear y seguir envíos desde la recolección hasta la entrega para asegurar que se proporciona información precisa y actualizada a los clientes.
    • Asegurar que se cumplan o superen las expectativas del cliente completando la programación y despacho precisa y oportuna de camiones y vagones de ferrocarril.
    • Desarrollar un modelo de crecimiento y capacitación para escalar el equipo según las necesidades comerciales.
    • Otras tareas y proyectos asignados por el gerente.

      • REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS NECESARIOS (HABILIDADES, CONOCIMIENTOS Y HABILIDADES REQUERIDOS)

      Educación y/o Experiencia

      • Diploma de Escuela Secundaria.
      • 2 años de experiencia en logística, corretaje de transporte o campo relacionado.
      • 2 años específicamente en carga aérea primera y última milla.

      HABILIDADES/REQUISITOS PREFERIDOS

      • Título universitario en Logística o Cadena de Suministro.
      • Experiencia previa en gestión.
      • 5 años de experiencia en la industria.

      Horas y Ambiente de Trabajo

      El horario normal de trabajo para esta posición es de lunes a viernes de 8:30 AM a 5:30 PM, sin embargo, a menudo se requerirá trabajar más allá de estas horas según las necesidades comerciales.

      Para esta posición, el salario base esperado es: $78,000 - $117,500 / Anual. La compensación base real se determinará en función de varios factores, incluido el conocimiento relacionado con el trabajo, la ubicación geográfica, las habilidades, la experiencia y otras consideraciones empresariales objetivas.
