The Federation of German Consumer Organizations (vzbv) is the umbrella organization for 16 consumer centers in the federal states and 29 other consumer policy organizations.

Around 250 employees work for the vzbv in the heart of Berlin and at the Brussels location.

The central task of the association is to represent the interests of consumers in Germany towards politics, business and administration and to advocate for a fair and sustainable social and economic order.

To strengthen our team in Human Resources and Organization, we are looking for a:


Human Resources Officer
(31.2 hours per week, fixed-term until December 31, 2025)


The Human Resources and Organization team is responsible for all personnel-related issues - from recruitment, support and administration to personnel and organizational development.


Your tasks:


  • Processing of travel expenses
  • Processing and administration of business trip requests
  • Settlement of domestic and international trips for internal and external business travelers
  • Clarification of inquiries regarding the Federal Travel Expenses Act
  • Processing of all processes related to job tickets
  • Processing of working and absence times and verification of corresponding evidence
  • Analysis and optimization of processes within personnel support

You bring with you:


  • Completed relevant vocational training in the commercial sector or in administration (or comparable qualification), for foreign educational qualifications proof of recognition in Germany must be provided
