Description

Our client, a cooperative business group, is currently seeking a caretaker (m/f/d) for Jekyll Island, GA.

This is a full-time position with a long-term commitment.

Your responsibilities:

Monitoring maintenance and modernization measures by external companies; tracking warranties
Coordinating and instructing craftsmen and maintenance companies, as well as monitoring and accepting external work
Maintenance and upkeep of outdoor areas and common areas in cooperation with external service providers
Ensuring compliance with house rules and monitoring safety and traffic safety
Independently planning and carrying out minor repairs
Conducting regular tenant consultations and handling complaints and suggestions
Direct contact and service provider for tenants/users
Conducting apartment inspections and handovers, as well as apartment viewings

Your qualifications:

Ideally several years of professional experience as a caretaker (m/f/d) in the housing industry
Demonstrable good manual skills and a strong technical understanding
Completed vocational training in a trade, such as heating engineer (m/f/d), gas and water installer (m/f/d), or electrician (m/f/d)
High level of service orientation, communication skills, commitment, reliability, and flexibility in handling changing tasks
Good PC skills, especially in MS Office
Valid driver's license required
