    Regional Sales Manager (Southeast)

    Location: Arlington, TX


    The Opportunity:
    We are looking for talented and energetic sales professionals who have a passion for education technology to join our team at Reading Plus Working from a home office, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for establishing relationships in larger districts with key decision makers (i.e. District Administrators, Principals, Curriculum Directors, etc.) in specified territories.
    The main objective is to sell Reading Plus reading intervention solutions to school districts over 5,000 enrollment.

    Most interaction with prospective customers will be outbound prospecting, following up on sales leads, delivering virtual/onsite presentations, and managing the purchasing journey.

    This position is remote and our ideal candidate would be based in Texas or Alabama.

    You are exceptionally good at:

    • Achieving defined new business sales objectives
    • Pipeline and forecast management
    • Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction
    • Channelling customer feedback appropriately
    • Communicating with sales team members appropriately
    • Maintaining and developing skills and knowledge in the areas of literacy product and the education technology industry
    • Performing CRM administrative responsibilities; reporting, customer database maintenance
    What you'll need to be successful in this role:

    • 5+ years of direct customer sales experience is required
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
    • Thorough understanding of the K-12 sales process
    • Experience selling SaaS in K-12 market
    • Relationships with significant educational decision-makers
    • Deep understanding of educational issues, customer needs, and funding sources
    • Superior communication skills and demonstrated experience conducting presentations to all levels, including senior management staff and senior level customers
    • Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask
    • Competence in MS Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
    • Proficient in or similar CRM system
    • Must be able to travel efficiently throughout the territory; must have valid drivers license; must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
